Are you tired of living from paycheck to paycheck? Have you ever observed a
need that you longed to meet, but you didn’t have the finances to help? Do you
yearn to sow freely into the needs of ministry? Do you want more out of life for
you and your family? If so, you need the School of Financial Literacy!
Even though you are to “owe no man anything, but to love [him] (Romans 13:8),
having no increase renders you useless to the kingdom of God. By the same token,
you can experience financial increase, but existing debt can just as easily hinder
you from kingdom advancement. UITC’s School of Financial Literacy is designed to
teach you how to fulfill your God-given destiny to be a blessing to others. The way
you get started, is by enrolling here ONLINE in the UITC Money Smart Financial
Literacy first step.
Whether you are financially comfortable or head over heels in debt, you need this
Course! You will learn:
- Practical financial skills, taught by community bankers
- How to use biblical principles to make natural principles work
- The keys to debt reduction
- How to increase for kingdom advancement
- Automatic system for financial freedom
School of Financial Literacy classes are taught inside the Unity in the Community Command Post located at 3570 Rodeo Place, Los Angeles, CA 90016 (in the
shopping center at Crenshaw and Rodeo, next door to Rite Aid.) You can register
here ONLINE for a one-time donation of $35.00, this includes five classes,
covering all 10 modules. The donation helps defray our costs for facility overhead
and materials.
Money is one of the most sought after and less understood things in existence.
Why? Because it is the medium by which we all buy, sell, and function on this
earth. Therefore, knowledge of how to best use this medium is critical for success. It does one no good to be literate about everything else, but illiterate about money. Unity in the Community would not have you ignorant. That is why we
are providing the School of Financial Literacy.
We accomplish our goal of having a financially literate community, by providing
training in:
- Bank On It
- An introduction to bank services
- Borrowing Basics
- An Introduction to credit
- Check it Out
- How to choose and keep a checking account
- Money Matters
- How to keep track of your money
- Pay Yourself First
- Keep it Safe
- Your rights as a consumer
- To Your Credit
- How your credit history will affect your credit future
- Charge It Right
- How to make a credit card work for you
- Loan To Own
- Know what you’re borrowing before you buy
- Your Own Home
- What homeownership is all about
Wealth Building through Prosperity Partnership is greater than anything you have ever imagined. Partnership is an ordinance of God that began in the Old Testament and continues into the New Testament. This system was officially established and recognized as an ordinance of God in I Samuel 30. In I Samuel, Chapter 30 we find David, his men and their families in distress. The Amalekites had taken all their possessions. By working in Partnership, David recovered all the Amalekites had taken and much more.
