P.O.W.E.R. "Total Life Prosperity"

Unity in the Community, a non-profit Christian faith based organization is making a massive
investment into the lives of Overcomers through the “P.O.W.E.R. TOTAL LIVE PROSPERITY OUTREACH.” P.O.W.E.R. means Preparing Overcomers to Win Every Race. Overcomers are
men and women coming over on the other side of life’s challenges. These low to moderate income
individuals and families receive educational, personal, social, and spiritual help.
MANY OVERCOMERS LIVES ARE REBUILT
Overcomers benefit from “Total Life Prosperity Development Teaching and Training,” made available by Unity in the Community. Because, it stabilizes, enhances, and prepares them for everyday life, creating a strong foundation for a victorious life. “P.O.W.E.R. Total Life Prosperity” works in conjunction with the Los Angeles Unified School District’s “We Build” Program. P.O.W.E.R. “TOTAL LIFE PROSPERITY”
The P.O.W.E.R. Program is a comprehensive service that prepares & supports youth, 18 and over,
adults from Low and Moderate-income families. We serve individuals with and without employable
skills. Our follow-up services are continued up to one year of enrollment and ongoing for those willing
to continue fellowshipping with us.
We collaborate with like-minded, community-based organizations, to further meet the needs of our
students, who we call “Overcomers.”
Information and Instruction: Community Reentry & Reintegration, Total Life Prosperity, Financial
Literacy Education, Health Literacy Education, Block Club Collaboration, and Community Policing.
